Cutcliffe Attracts World Class Equestrian Players

As a Cutcliffe insider I can say one of the best things about working at Cutcliffe is getting close and personal with some out of this world properties. The equestrian properties are no exception, with either well known industry owners or incredible facilities. Here are a few of the more note worthy ones we've got to be familiar with from recent years:

'Coolamon Park' Orchard Hills - 185 acres - This property was initially developed and owned by the late Stan and Molly Fox and was considered state of the art in the horse world with its own horse hospital with operating theatre, motel type staff accommodation and excellent general horse facilities.

'Belmont Park' North Richmond - 300 acres - Originally developed by Jack and Bob Ingham as their private breaking in, spelling and pre training property, the riverfront property was bought by a sheik with a global racing company in 2008. The $93 million dollar deal included other properties and horses and the sheik resold the property which consisted of 5 homes in 2015 for a cool $12.28 mil to the Kavanagh family from Box Hill.

'Merrynvale' Freemans Reach - 103 acres - 2 of the 4 tiles of this original property are still on the market with Cutcliffe. The highly developed property did consist of a title with a racing track which has been sold. The remaining lots consist of a title with a house and stables and a title just over a half acre in size with a home. The property was established by a race horse owner and his trainer son, the youngest ever to be admitted to the Australian Trainers Association.
