Django of Cacharel to make special Equifest appearance

Kelato Animal Health in partnership with EquiFest, Australia’s Festival of Equestrian is proud to announce an exclusive guest appearance by elite Grand Prix Dressage Friesian, Django of Cacharel.

Visitors to EquiFest on Saturday April 1st will have the wonderful opportunity to experience a meet and greet with this special stallion who has delighted dressage crowds for over a decade.

The Australian bred Friesian, along with his partner Jeremy Janjic of Janjic Performance Horses is sponsored by Kelato Animal Health and EquiFest will be their first public appearance together since retiring from top competition last year. Django and Jeremy performed their final dance in front of an adoring crowd at Equitana in November 2016, since then, the sixteen year old stallion has been busy siring the next generation of superstar Dressage Friesians.

The name Django of Cacharel is synonymous with the dressage world, his beauty, athleticism and expression never failing to provide a ‘wow’ moment for crowds fortunate enough to have seen him perform.

His partnership with Jeremy has been a remarkable one, formed over many years, Jeremy starting him as a two year old and producing him right through to Grand Prix level. Django of Cacharel remains the only Friesian to have represented Australia at an International CDI.

The stallion is as well known for his beautiful temperament as his majesty and has a large and loyal group of fans along with his own Facebook group. During his years competing he was a major drawcard at events, invited to appear at Equitana five times, as well as Melbourne International 3 Day GP Dressage, the Pacific League World Cup Final, four World Cup finals and the NSW Horse of the Year CDI

While he has both pure and part bred projeny, there will only ever be one Django of Cacharel. Don’t miss the unique opportunity to get up close and personal and have a photo taken with him at EquiFest thanks to Kelato Animal Health.
